iPixel is chosen when the goal is meaningful improvement in skin texture, tone or scarring — and you're prepared for a short period of visible recovery in exchange for more significant results. It's a fractional ablative laser, meaning it creates tiny controlled channels in the skin surface to trigger deep renewal and collagen remodelling.
iPixel is delivered using the Harmony XL Pro laser platform. The fractional approach means only a fraction of the skin surface is treated at each pass, leaving surrounding tissue intact for faster healing. Your clinician selects depth and density settings based on your concerns (texture, scarring, fine lines) and skin type. A course may be recommended depending on severity.
iPixel can involve moderate discomfort. Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand for comfort. A treatment takes around 20–40 min, and your practitioner will keep you comfortable throughout.
iPixel typically involves around 3–7 days of downtime. You can usually return to exercise after 3–5 days.
For the best result we usually recommend 1–3 depending on concern. Results are typically seen progressively over the following weeks.
iPixel results last well but are not permanent. Typical maintenance: Annual or as advised. Your practitioner will tailor this to your goals at your consultation.
