Your Trusted Partner in Aesthetics

Profile Aesthetic is a medically-led clinic in Aberdeen serving the Northeast of Scotland. Our team delivers laser hair removal using the Soprano Titanium platform — selected for its safety across all skin types, patient comfort and proven efficacy across face and body areas.

Why Choose Soprano Titanium Laser Hair Removal?

Laser hair removal is chosen when you want a long-term solution to unwanted hair without the cycle of shaving, waxing or plucking. The Soprano Titanium system we use at Profile Aesthetic integrates three laser wavelengths into a single device, allowing it to target hair follicles at different depths simultaneously. This makes it effective across a wide range of skin tones and hair types — including darker skin, which older laser systems often couldn't treat safely.

The treatment is virtually painless compared to older technologies, with most patients describing a gentle warming sensation rather than the sharp snapping associated with earlier lasers.

Procedure Details

The Soprano Titanium delivers controlled laser energy that is absorbed by the pigment in hair follicles, disabling their ability to produce new growth. Rather than firing individual high-energy pulses, it uses a gradual heating technique that builds energy in the follicle while keeping the skin comfortable. Your clinician selects wavelength and settings based on your skin type, hair colour and the treatment area. A course of 6–8 sessions is typically recommended, spaced to align with your hair growth cycle.

Before the Procedure

  • Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment
  • Avoid sun exposure, self-tan and sunbeds for at least 2 weeks prior
  • Do not wax, pluck or epilate — the follicle root needs to be present
  • Tell us about: photosensitising medications, pregnancy/breastfeeding, recent sun exposure

During the Procedure

  • Typically 20–30 minutes depending on area (larger areas may take longer)
  • Cooling gel is applied for comfort
  • You will feel gentle warmth — most patients find it very tolerable
  • No anaesthesia required

After the Procedure

  • Mild redness or warmth may occur for a few hours
  • Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF to treated areas
  • Hair will shed gradually over the following 1–2 weeks
  • Avoid hot baths, saunas and swimming pools for 24–48 hours
