What Does the Laser Liposuction Procedure Involve?
The Beautifill laser liposuction procedure is performed under local anaesthetic and sedation. Small areas may be suitable for treatment under local anaesthetic alone. All procedures are performed in our state-of-the-art operating theatre, ensuring the highest standards of safety and infection control.

What is the Recovery from Liposuction Like?
The recovery from Beautifill laser liposuction is easier than with traditional liposuction. Bruising is reduced as the laser coagulates while disrupting the fat and tightening the skin. There is generally some swelling as a result of the procedure and the volume of local anaesthetic used. This quickly subsides over the first 2 weeks. You will need to wear a specialised compression garment for 6 weeks after the procedure and depending on the areas treated, can return to work within a few days - most people can return to light or office-based work after a week. You will see the results developing quickly as the swelling subsides. Most of the swelling will be gone by 6 weeks, but there will be continued enhancement of your contour for around 3 months and the skin tightening will continue to improve over 6 months.
